  1. A settlement on Loch Inver, near Lochinver, western Sutherland, Highland council area, Scotland (OS grid ref NC0822).

      The side road to Baddidarach, on the other side of Lochinver, gives a striking view of the whitewashed village by the shore, a ridge rising behind it and, looming over everything, the sugar-loaf peak of Suilven in the heart of the deer forest beyond.
