Oddities

My library's Godefroy 10 volume Old French Dictionary doesn't give chantere or chanteor. Also I removed provoire/prestre being allegedly the same word, as all my research shows that they are synonyms rather than inflected forms of each other, because prestre is much more common by a wide margin, they rarely appear together (like house/houses in the same text in English) and AFAICT both prestre and provoire have full declensions. Perhaps they started off as the same word, but diverged into two later on. Mglovesfun (talk) 16:00, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
