these dont really look like anapodoton strictly stated to me. some of them are, since they begin with if, but the rest are just shortened forms of familiar phrases. is there a convenient term for that? Soap 13:55, 28 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

how about calling it pars pro toto, even though that's usually for something else? normally i wouldnt make such a big deal over this, but i feel it's important when it's the page title. Soap 10:25, 30 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
