This appendix lists Filipino surnames that are of Basque origin.

Basque surnames also provide another source of several common Filipino surnames, and are mostly toponymic in origin. Surnames from Basque are typically a blend of several elements. Basque surnames used in the Philippines are Spanish transcriptions used before a standard written variety of Basque (Standard Basque, or Euskara batua) was approved.

Though several Basque surnames are also common in the Hispanic world, a few are unique in the Philippines (usually being intentional respellings adapted for speakers of native languages, especially Visayan languages), or more prevalent in the Philippines.

Basque are one of several languages that are sources of surnames in the Catálogo alfabético de apellidos issued by Governor-General Narciso Clavería y Zaldúa in 1849 to standardize surnames as part of improving collection of taxes and counting of the population by the Spanish colonial authorities. Yet, not all surnames in the catalog are used.
