Love and marriage

• te iubesc (familiar) — vă iubesc (polite)

  I love you

• te urăsc (familiar) — vă urăsc (polite)

  I hate you

• îmi place de tine — nu-mi place de tine

  I like you — I don't like you

• ești căsătorit? (familiar, to a man) — ești căsătorită? (familiar, to a woman)
• sunteți căsătorit? (polite, to a man) — sunteți căsătorită? (polite, to a woman)
• sunteți căsătoriți? (to more than one person - a couple, for example)

  are you married?

• da, sunt căsătorit (a man speaking) — sunt căsătorită (a woman speaking)

  yes, I'm married

• nu, nu sunt căsătorit (a man speaking) — nu sunt căsătorită (a woman speaking)

  no, I'm not married

• căsătorește-te cu mine

  will you marry me? (literally closer to "get married with me", making it something more of a command than a request)
