      2. (mathematics) Some symbols in mathematical notation.

   3. (computing) Used in file names, e-mail addresses and the domain names of a website.

   4. (computing) Used in terminal or command line interfaces.

   5. (informal, text messaging) Informal writing (often avoiding the shift key, to type more quickly).
