Usage notes
[edit]Following the passing of an act to rename Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru (“the National Assembly for Wales”) to Senedd Cymru (“the Welsh Parliament”), the term Aelod Cynulliad (“Assembly Member”) was superseded by Aelod o'r Senedd (“Member of the Senedd”). This new term is not to be confused with Aelod Seneddol (“Member of (the UK) Parliament”). The abbreviation AS is used for both Aelod o'r Senedd and Aelod Seneddol.
