A1A-A1A (countable and uncountable, plural A1A-A1As)

  1. (rail transport, uncountable) A wheel arrangement for diesel and electric locomotives with two three-axle bogies / trucks, the two outer axles of each bogie are powered and the centre axle is unpowered.
  2. (countable) A locomotive with this wheel arrangement.
