From initial letter W of English water. Using a location similar to the ASL sign C@NearChin-TipForward C@NearChin-TipUp (drink).

  • This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the dominant hand in the “6” handshape at the chin, tip (opposite end from the wrist) of the dominant hand facing up.
    2. After touching the chin, hold the hand still briefly.
