  • This two-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
    1. Posture the nondominant hand in the “1” handshape in front of the center of the chest, nondominant index finger pointing across, forward, and optionally up. Posture the dominant hand in the “1” handshape with the dominant hand at the back of the extended finger(s) of the nondominant hand, dominant index finger across the nondominant index finger.
    2. Move both hands apart to the following posture.
    3. Posture the nondominant hand in the “1” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of and beside the chest. Posture the dominant hand in the “1” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of and beside the chest.
