  1. Used to form singulatives from collective nouns.
    ceʼa (birds) + ‎-ichcho → ‎ceʼichcho (bird)
  2. Used to form adjectives from verbs with a similar meaning.
    buxa (to become poor) + ‎-ichcho → ‎buxichcho (poor)

Usage notes

  • After a sonorant (n, r, l) that is immediately preceded by a vowel, the form -cho is used.
  • The derivatives suffixed with -(ich)cho usually change their gender:
    dagunna (leopards) (f) + ‎-ichcho → ‎daguncho (leopard) (m)
