- used to derive verbs with a frequentative connotation
- bere (“to drink”) + -icchiare → bevicchiare (“to drink often or excessively”)
- used to derive verbs with a diminutive connotation
- dormire (“to sleep”) + -icchiare → dormicchiare (“to doze”)
- campare (“to live, to get by”) + -icchiare → campicchiare (“to scrape by, to barely get by”)
