Usage notes
[edit]- The suffix is somewhat productive in German, but only with Latinate stems. The generally applicable suffix is -bar. Sometimes both forms are in use, e.g. deklinabel and deklinierbar.
- As generally with adjective in -el, the -e- is dropped before inflections (thus -able etc. instead of -abele).
