1. Modal verb suffix reflecting that the subject of the verb should do the action/event/state expressed by the verb.
2. should

   Chikashsha chiyakmat Chikashsha ishanompolaꞌnt.

   Chikashsha chi-ya-kmat Chikashsha ish-anompol(i)-aꞌnt.
   (Lit.: Chickasaw you are, if that, Chickasaw you speak should.)

   If you are Chickasaw, you should speak Chickasaw.
