- тылгылӈын (“finger”) + -увʼвʼи → тылгувʼвʼи (“(many) fingers”)
- ӄураӈа (“reindeer”) + -вʼвʼи → ӄуравʼвʼи (“(many) reindeer”)
- (with the suffix -на) used to indicate plural objects, many of something.
- тынун вапаӄ → тынунавʼвʼи вапаӄавʼвʼи
- I ate a fly agaric → I ate (many) fly agarics
Usage notes
[edit]In colloquial speech, the ending -вʼвʼи is frequently reduced to -в or removed entirely.
