Inherited from Proto-Anatolian *sαΉ“gΚ·os, from Proto-Indo-European *sekΚ·- (β€œto see”).[1] Compare Hittite π’Š­π’€€π’†ͺπ’‰Ώ (Ε‘a-a-ku-wa /⁠sākuwa⁠/, nom.-acc.pl.), Lydian *𐀳𐀠π€₯- (*Ε‘aw-) (possibly found in the term 𐀳𐀠π€₯𐀸 (Ε‘awΓ±, β€œtoward”)), Lycian πŠ—πŠ€πŠ‡πŠ€ (tawa, nom.-acc.pl.).
