Borrowed from Scythian *Śuḍāsa (who kept the good acts in memory), composed of *śuḍa (goodness, good acts) (cf. Khotanese śśuru, śuru, śśära (good); śśäḍe (goodness, good acts)) + *āsā (kept in memory).[1]
