Usage notes
[edit]- The consonant mutates from π° (d) to π±
(t) after being appended to a verb that ends with the consonants l, r and n.
- -π°π°π° (bol-, βto beβ) + π°π° (dΒ²i) β π°π°π°‘π° (boltΓ―, βit happenedβ)
- Unlike most tenses, this tense can take personal suffixes.
- -π°π°π°Ί (olur-, βto sitβ) + π°π° (dΒ²i) β π°π°π°Ίπ±π°’ (olurtum, βI satβ)
- Can be appended to π°Ό (er-) in order to be used with other verbs or nouns to indicate the state the subject used to be.
- π° (eb, βhouseβ) + π°Όπ± π° (rΒ²tΒ²i) β π°:π°Όπ± π° (eb:erti, βit used to be a house.β)
