ππΏππΉπ

Gothic
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Probably from Proto-Indo-European *swehβd- (βsweetβ), though this is not entirely certain due to the semantic shift "sweet" > "mild" when virtually all other Germanic descendants retain the original "sweet" sense.[1]
