Declension
[edit]There are two declensions attested, one u-stem paradigm from Ancient Greek ἸάκΟΞ²ΞΏΟ (IΓ‘kΕbos), the other from αΌΈΞ±ΞΊΟΞ² (IakαΉb). The u-stem paradigm is more common in general; the other paradigm is mostly used when referring to the Old Testament patriarch (although it is also sometimes used to refer to James).
