Declension
[edit]The word is only attested in its accusative singular form and an apparently misspelled genitive plural (which are both not enough to distinguish between masculine and neuter a-stem nouns), so the gender cannot be determined with certainty: it may also have been a masculine a-stem *๐ณ๐ฐ๐ป๐ (*dals). Both possible declensions are given below.
- Attested (apparently misspelled) genitive plural: ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ป๐ด๐น (dalei). Note that the regular genitive plural ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ป๐ด (dalฤ) given in the tables below is not attested. (Compare ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐๐ณ๐ด๐น (waurdei), ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ณ๐ด๐น (gardei).)
