[edit]Etymology
[edit]From π²π°- (ga-) + Proto-Germanic *reudaz (βredβ). The semantic shift from the Proto-Germanic 'red' is explained as a shift first perhaps to 'beautiful' (compare Russian ΠΊΡΠ°ΡΠ½ΡΠΉ (krasnyj)) or to 'easily blushing'.
Adjective
[edit]π²π°ππΉπΏπΈπ β’ (gariuΓΎs)
Declension
[edit]The nominative singular masculine and neuter are only attested as the variant forms π²π°ππΉπΏπ³π (gariuds) and π²π°ππΉπΏπ³ (gariud), respectively.
