ππππππ
Appearance
Faliscan
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Possibly an inflected form of Faliscan *πππππ (*pordo), itself from πππ- (por-, βforβ) + *ππ (*do, βI giveβ). See πππππ (dedet). May have originated as a reduplicative that lost its medial syllable. Bakkum argues that it is more likely an aorist.
