[edit]A compound of 𐀴𐀪 (ti-ri, “three”) + *𐀡𐀆 (*-po-de, “foot”), the unattested Mycenaean equivalent of πούς (poús, “foot”). Cognate with Ancient Greek τρίποδες (trípodes).
