[edit]- Although occasionally used as a noun in isolation, 잔인 (janin) is generally encountered as the non-verbal element of the light verb construction 잔인하다 (janin-hada). When conveying the noun meaning, the more common form is the verbal noun 잔인함 (janin-ham).
