인사(人事) (insa, greeting) +‎ 하다 (-hada). Attested in this idiosyncratic Korean sense since 1459, as Middle Korean ᅀᅵᆫᄉᆞ〮ᄒᆞ다〮 (Yale: zìnsó-hòtá).
