[edit]Orthographic borrowing from Japanese 異状無し (ijō nashi, “no abnormalities, nothing abnormal”). Equivalent to 이상(異狀) (isang, “abnormality”) + 무(無) (mu, “nonexistence”).

- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
