[edit]Usage notes
[edit]This is originally a dialectal form of 염병 (yeombyeong) via umlaut.
However, in modern usage, this form has gained popularity regardless of the dialect specifically for the "commotion, hubbub, ruckus, misbehavior, uncouth activity" sense of 염병 (yeombyeong).
