Usage notes
[edit]Originally, 우렁쉥이 (ureongsweng'i) was the sole standard Korean term for sea pineapple. In colloquial Korean, however, as 멍게 (meongge) was the much more common term, the term was eventually incorporated and admitted into the standard language.
