Etymology
[edit]This form coined in 1933 by Yoshimoto Kōgyō, from 万才 by changing the first character. This form popularized by 大阪万才 Osaka manzai (the Osaka region’s variant), from 万歳, from original 萬歳 by simplification of the first character.
