Etymology

- 不曰堅乎,磨而不磷;不曰白乎,涅而不緇。 [Classical Chinese, trad.]

- Bù yuē jiān hū, mó ér bù lín; bù yuē bái hū, niè ér bù zī. [Pinyin]
