From 康巴諾爾康巴诺尔 (Kāngbā Nuò'ěr), the name of a lake in the county's south, which is in turn from Mongolian [script needed] (kang-ba, beautiful) + ᠨᠠᠭᠤᠷ (naɣur, lake).
