Etymology
[edit]First attested in the 三国志 (Sangokushi, “Records of the Three Kingdoms”).
From Literary Chinese 卑彌弓呼 (OC *pie mie kuŋ hɑ) in Later Han pronunciation,[1] the original pronunciation remains uncertain.
