Etymology
[edit]During the Western Han dynasty, Zhang Chang was a Jingzhaoyin (an official position) who was going to be dismissed from his post. A subordinate refused to handle cases for him upon knowing this, and said, "He's going to be a Jingzhaoyin for no longer than five days. How could he handle any more cases?" See 《漢書•張敞傳》.
