   トリアージとは、リソースがどのように割(わ)り当(あ)てられるかを決(けっ)定(てい)するために、品(ひん)質(しつ)やニーズに応(おう)じて評(ひょう)価(か)または選(せん)別(べつ)をすることです。

   Toriāji toha, risōsu ga donoyōni wariate rareru ka o kettei suru tame ni, hinshitsu ya nīzu ni ōjite hyōka mataha senbetsu o suru koto desu.

   Triage is the assessment or sorting according to quality, need to determine how resources will be allocated.

   トリアージとは、大(だい)災(さい)害(がい)や疫(えき)病(びょう)の流(りゅう)行(こう)によって多(た)数(すう)の傷(しょう)病(びょう)者(しゃ)が発(はっ)生(せい)した際(さい)に、医(い)療(りょう)の現(げん)場(ば)で怪(け)我(が)や病(びょう)気(き)の程(てい)度(ど)を判(はん)定(てい)し、治(ち)療(りょう)や搬(はん)送(そう)の優(ゆう)先(せん)順(じゅん)位(い)を決(き)めるプロセスです。

   Toriāji toha, dai saigai ya ekibyō no ryūkō ni yotte tasū no shōbyō sha ga hassei shita sai ni, iryō no genba de kega ya byōki no teido o hantei shi, chiryō ya hansō no yūsen jun'i o kimeru purosesu desu.

   Triage is the process of assessment of the severity of the injuries and illnesses in the medical field and determining priorities for treatment and transportation, when a large number of people are injured or sick due to a major disaster or epidemic.
