Usage notes
[edit]Although the Japanese term was borrowed from the Spanish plural form tacos, there is generally no plural or singular in Japanese nouns, and タコス (takosu) is used for both plural and singular:
- タコス一つ食べた。
- Takosu hitotsu tabeta.
- I ate a taco.
- タコスたくさん食べた。
- Takosu takusan tabeta.
- I ate a lot of tacos.
