Etymology
[edit]From ἐτεός (eteós, “true”) + -κλῆς (-klês, “fame”). The reconstructed archaic form *Ἐτεϝοκλέϝης (*Etewokléwēs) has been connected to Hittite 𒋫𒉿𒂵𒆷𒉿 (Tawagalawa).
