- λέγει δὲ καὶ τοὺς Ἀρίμους ὁ ποιητής, οὕς φησι Ποσειδώνιος δέχεσθαι δεῖν μὴ τόπον τινὰ τῆς Συρίας ἢ τῆς Κιλικίας ἢ ἄλλης τινὸς γῆς, ἀλλὰ τὴν Συρίαν αὐτήν· Ἀραμαῖοι γὰρ οἱ ἐν αὐτῆι· τάχα δ᾽ οἱ Ἕλληνες Ἀριμαίους ἐκάλουν ἢ Ἀρίμους.
