[edit]Sense of 'sack' or 'purse' is no longer in common modern usage. Anatomical sense might have been from a clipping of ᮊᮔ᮪ᮏᮥᮒ᮪ ᮊᮧᮔ᮪ᮒᮧᮜ᮪ (kanjut kontol, “lit. sack of the penis”), now synonymous with ᮊᮧᮔ᮪ᮒᮧᮜ᮪ (kontol, “penis”).
