     ናሁ ፡ አነ ፡ እሰፍሕ ፡ ፀምረ ፡ ብዙኀ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ዐውድ ፡ ወእመከመ ፡ ወረደ ፡ ጠል ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፀምር ፡ ባሕቲቱ ፡ ወኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፡ ይቡስ ፡ ኣአምር ፡ እንከ ፡ ከመ ፡ ታድኅኖሙ ፡ ለእስራኤል ፡ በእዴየ ፡ በከመ ፡ ትቤ ።

     nahu ʾänä ʾəsäfḥ ṣ́ämrä bəzuḫä wəstä ʿäwd wäʾmäkämä wärädä ṭäl wəstä ṣ́ämr baḥtitu wäkʷlu mədr yəbus ʾaʾämr ʾənkä kämä tadḫənomu läʾsəraʾel bäʾdeyä bäkämä təbe .

     look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said.”
