- (v.16) Then he constructed twenty cubits out from the edge of its lateral wall which is one from its base to its rafters, and he made out of the inner room the Holy of Holies, (v.17) and forty cubits was its room (v.18) from in front of the inner room in the middle of its inner house, in order to place there the ark of the Lord's covenant.

- Then Solomon brought in the implements which he had had made for the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, the golden table, upon which was arranged the bread of the offering, and the candlesticks, five on the right and five on the left in front of the inner room, joined and fastened of gold, their bases and their stems and whatever adorns them of gold.
