ምስር

Apparently from a descendant of Sanskrit मसूर (masūra, lentil), though descendance from Arabic بُلْسُن (bulsun, lentils), in view of Ethiopian Semitic terms closer to it, perhaps under influence from Ottoman Turkish مصر (mısır, maize), has been considered.
