[edit]Etymology
[edit]Uncertain. Derivable from both Proto-Kartvelian *c̣₁ero- (“crane”) and Proto-Kartvelian *ḳwer- (“crow”). If inherited from the former then this word is a doublet of წა̈̄რუ̂ (c̣ǟrû, “crane (Grus spp.)”).
Noun
[edit]ჭო̈̄რ • (č̣ȫr) (plural ჭო̈̄რა̈ლ)
