Etymology
[edit]Akin to Mingrelian ნანია (nania), ნალია (nalia), Laz ნაჲლა (nayla). The ultimate origin is uncertain.

- a wooden barn, which is placed on four pillars and used to store maize, millet and other crops away from animals and moisture
