  1. to expect; to hope; to wait, dream that something s/he wants will happen
    Synonyms: ნახენ (naxen), მეშვენს (meşvens)
    დიკაფონა ნახაშკარე დიკა მჭეშარ ; ვარმჭეშანა ოგუმუ ვარმეშონარ.
    diǩapona naxaşǩare diǩa mç̌eşar ; varmç̌eşana ogumu varmeşonar.
    You shall wait (guard) the wheat that you sow in the wheat field; if you do not wait (guard), you shall not hope to reap.(proverb)
