Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (buṁ-luṁ "fish-trap"; buṁ² "drum"), and not mentioned by Luce 1981. Sort of sounds like it could be onomatopoeic, particularly for the "drum" sense; are the "drum" and "fish-trap" senses etymologically related or distinct?”
