Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (kyân "well, healthy"), and not mentioned by Luce 1981. Bears superficial phonetic resemblance to Old Chinese (OC *ɡaŋ, *ɡaŋʔ, “strong”), though unclear if a connection should be made.”
