Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (kûṁ "string, as beads"), and not mentioned by Luce 1981. Resembles Sanskrit गुण (guṇa, string, quality); could this be borrowed? The final "m" doesn't match the Sanskrit retroflex "ṇ", though.”
