[edit]From Javanese ꦮꦶꦭꦶꦱ꧀ꦩꦫ (Wilismara), a portmanteau word of ꦮꦶꦭꦶꦱ꧀ (wilis, “Mount Wilis”) + ꦲꦚ꧀ꦗꦱ꧀ꦩꦫ (anjasmara, “Mount Anjasmara”), the name of a sacred mountain in the story of Javanese prince Panji, on top of which a finely decorated, golden temple sits.
