From Javanese ꦮꦶꦭꦶꦱ꧀ꦩꦫ (Wilismara), a portmanteau word of ꦮꦶꦭꦶꦱ꧀ (wilis, Mount Wilis) +‎ ꦲꦚ꧀ꦗꦱ꧀ꦩꦫ (anjasmara, Mount Anjasmara), the name of a sacred mountain in the story of Javanese prince Panji, on top of which a finely decorated, golden temple sits.
