[edit]Cognate with Kannada ಮಂಜಳು (mañjaḷu), Kodava ಮಂಜ (mañja), Tamil மஞ்சள் (mañcaḷ) and Tulu ಮಂಜಳ್ (mañjaḷŭ). Doublet of മഞ്ഞ (mañña). (This etymology is missing or incomplete. Please add to it, or discuss it at the Etymology scriptorium.)
